The terms and conditions is a legal contract ("Agreement") between You and Socyti(“Socyti Software”). You agree and acknowledge that you have read the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions or do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use the Services and/or immediately terminate the Services. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions stated here, we would request you to exit this site.

The terms "Socyti" "We" / "Us" / "Our"/”Company” individually and collectively refer to SOCYTI.IN(Socyti Software) and the terms "Visitor” ”User” ”Society Administrator” ”Members” refer to the users.

The business, may amend the terms and conditions at any time by posting an updated version at www.Socyti.in ("Socyti Software"). The updated version of the Terms of Service shall take effect immediately upon posting. It is Your responsibility to review these Terms of Use periodically for updates / changes. Your continued use of Socyti App/Site following the posting of changes will mean that You accept and agree to the revisions including additional Terms or removal of portions of these Terms, modifications etc. . As long as You comply with these Terms of Use, We grant You a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and avail the Services.

USING Socyti APP/WEBSITE INDICATES YOUR AGREEMENT TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER THESE TERMS OF USE, SO PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING. By impliedly or expressly accepting these Terms of Use, You also accept and agree to be bound by Socyti Policies (including but not limited to Privacy Policy) available on the Socyti Software website www.Socyti.in as amended from time to time.

Use Of Content

All logos, brands, marks headings, labels, names, signatures, numerals, shapes or any combinations thereof, appearing in this site, except as otherwise noted, are properties either owned, or used under licence, by the business and / or its associate entities who feature on this Website. The use of these properties or any other content on this site, except as provided in these terms and conditions or in the site content, is strictly prohibited.

You may not sell or modify the content of this Website or reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the materials in any way for any public or commercial purpose without the respective organisation’s or entity’s written permission.

General Rules

Socyti software is a society accounting & management solution which facilitates society administrators and members and acts as such by creating, hosting, maintaining and providing Services to you via the Internet. Socyti provides its Services to customers through 'Socyti' mobile application (“Socyti App”) and 'www.Socyti.in' website, which acts as a container for various services related to the society accounting and management. Socyti provides its Services to societies by enabling them to store their transactions and members data and get the statastics about overall performance of the society through Socyti mobile application and www.Socyti.in website. Socyti is not the replacement of traditional way of managing societies but it enables them to do their tasks from effortslessly and efficiently.

Socyti facilitates payments and services in connection with online transactions for services concluded on and through the Socyti App and website, or any third party merchant app, website, physical store or any individual both within and outside the Socyti network.

Service Specific Rules:

Please read out the following service centric rules:

  • "Visitors" service enables societies to keep track of visitors invited by the members and thereby add security layer for the society members.
    • Invite Visitor: Society member must have to invite visitor(e.g. relative, friend, deliver boy etc.) by sending link which contains unique QR code.
    • Scan Gate Pass: Any visitor coming to the society must hold the QR code sent in above step. The visitor must have to validate the QR code with the society administration. It is society administration's duty that no visitor is allowed to enter the society gate without having QR code and visitor is only allowed to enter the society gate after successful check-in. Once visitor have QR code then society administration must scan it to extract the details about the invitee and visitor. Socyti is not responsible for any misinformation provided by the invitee. Society administrator must enter the vehicle no. if visitor is carrying and must check-in visitor if society administrator is satisfied. When visitor is about to leave the society he/she must check-out and this task must be done by the society administrator, optionally society member can also check-in / check-out visitor. Visitor is allowed for check-in / check-out with the same QR code for only once. The society member must sent re-invitation if he/she wish to invite his/her friend, collegue or delivery boy.
  • Management:
    • "Properties" service enables societies to add all the flats, shops entries which could be used to assign them while adding members into the system via Socyti App/Website. The number of properties is restricted according to the plan. If society has opt for standard plan then maximum number in the package is the limit for the properties to add. If society has opt for premium plan then the number of units entered while payment is the limit to add the properties.
    • "Members" service enables societies to keep track of all the members (owners and renters) living and help them organize their information which could be used while making receipts for maintainence or other society relevant transactions. Society administrators can add their members through Socyti App/Website. Society members can also register themselves from the invitation link. It is society administrators' or society members' duty to add their vehicles while filling the form and Socyti is not responsible for any mis-information provided in the form.
    • "Roles" is a special service provided to the societies which enables societies to assign society tasks to society administrators as per their position in the committee. It is highly recommended that society members should not get access to this service. Socyti App/Website facilitates society administrators to give access rights of various features of the software to the person according to their position in the society. For any wrong permission or access rights given to the wrong person Socyti won't be responsible. We will provide you enough training in using this service. It is highly recommended to contact us in case of any query.
    • "Circulars" service enables societies to keep log of any announcements made in society and notify the members for the same. Members will receive the notification via SMS if the society has purchased the premium plan. If society has reached its limit of the SMS credits then members won't be able to receive any notifications. Members would not receive notifications in circumstances such as electricity failure, internet connectivity issue etc.
    • "Settings" is a special service provided to the societies which enables societies to set some transactions related configurations like Maintainence Amount, Advance Maintainence Amount, Penalty etc. The values defined in these configurations will be used where maintainence or waterbill collected. Socyti App/Website does not have any control which values you define it is totally left to the society administrators. The access level of this service is managed from the "Roles" service and it is highly recommended that the only main society admin can access this service. If access given to any wrong person Socyti won't be responsible for any mis-information provided in these configurations and affected transactions due to them. There is a setting "Society Management Cycle" and it must be set as 12 months duration because the transactions are recorded according to this cycle.
    • "My Society" service enables societies to store some information about the society itself, see logs of the transactions of service payment and package information. Some information defined here like Registration no, address etc. will be printed in automatic maintainence receipts etc. With free trial societies will receive 1 month for free and then they will have to purchase standard or premium plan to continue. With the Standard plan societies can avail all the features except for SMS notifications. With Premium plan societies can avail all the features including SMS notifications. Premium plan is priced high compared to the Standard plan due to SMS charges collected by the third party service. Socyti does not keep logs of SMS in the system. If societies purchase premium plan then SMS credits they will get according to this math formula: numerOfUnits * 5 * 12. Socyti uses third party software "Paytm" for making payment online and internet handling fees is the fundamental right of Socyti App/Website to collect from the buyer for the data hosting and online transaction charges. Societies will have to renew service each year for continuing failing so will result termination in using the software. The business, We have the rights to upgrade pricing whenever we need.
  • Accounting:
    • "Maintainence" service enables societies to create maintainence & waterbill bills for all the primary members each month. Society administrators can collect maintainence amount, waterbill amount, penalty if applicable with this service. The details of cheque is not verified with any banks and it applies for the online transfer option also. It's society administrators' duty to verify them manually. This service helps society administrators keep log of all maintainence/waterbill collections and help them to idenfity any dues pending of any members. Society administrators can notify members for the new bills via SMS and emails. Societies with Premium plan can receive SMS notification. An automated receipt is generated upon marking any transaction as paid and it is sent via email to the society member. If you get any query regard any transaction you can contact us via our support forum. The format of the receipt is standard and can't be modified and it displays all the information needed. The receipt for the rented person involves name of the owner as well in the receipt.
    • "Incomes" service enables societies to record incomes other than maintainence/waterbills. The details of cheque is not verified with any banks and it applies for the online transfer option also. It's society administrators' duty to verify them manually. If income is received from any society member then an automated receipt is generated and sent via email and SMS. Societies with Premium plan can receive SMS notification.
    • "Expenses" service enables societies to record any expense made. The details of cheque is not verified with any banks and it applies for the online transfer option also. It's society administrators' duty to verify them manually. It is society administrators' duty to upload any physical document recevied while making this transaction.
    • "Cash Status" service enables societies to record their cash balance each month. The information are manually filled by society administrators and Socyti, We or The business is not responsible for any mis-information. It is highly recommended to drop an email to us in case of any queries.
    • "Bank Status" service enables societies to record their bank balance each month. The information are manually filled by society administrators and Socyti, We or The business is not responsible for any mis-information. It is highly recommended to drop an email to us in case of any queries.
    • "Reports" service enables societies to download various reports which shows statastics of the incomes, expenses, cash balance etc. The data displayed in the reports will be shown according to the data entries made by the Society administrators. For any query you can contact us via our support forum.
  • "Dashboard" service shows interactive charts which shows statastics about the incomes, expenses, cash balance, bank balance etc. The data is shown according to the data entries made in the system. This service is availble for every member of the society and it won't be restricted for anyone.
  • "My Profile" service enables society members manage their personel information, they can change password from here etc.
  • "My Bills" service enables society members keep log of their own maintainence, waterbill bills. They can download the receipts from here too. Members can pay their bills online if the society has opted for it. We use third party software "PayTM" to collect your payments. The payments will be credited in society's bank account in 2 - 3 days. If member feels about wrong bill he/she should consult with society administrators before making payment online.
  • SMS Alerts: To premium package holders website will send updates related to maintenance & water bills, dues, announcements made, online payments of maintenance & water bills to society's members. Website will also send updates related to service renewal process to society's administrators.

INDEMNITY

The User unilaterally agree to indemnify and hold harmless, without objection, the Company, its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, actions and/or demands and/or liabilities and/or losses and/or damages whatsoever arising from or resulting from their use of www.socyti.in or their breach of the terms.

LIABILITY

User agrees that neither Company nor its group companies, directors, officers or employee shall be liable for any direct or/and indirect or/and incidental or/and special or/and consequential or/and exemplary damages, resulting from the use or/and the inability to use the service or/and for cost of procurement of substitute goods or/and services or resulting from any goods or/and data or/and information or/and services purchased or/and obtained or/and messages received or/and transactions entered into through or/and from the service or/and resulting from unauthorized access to or/and alteration of user's transmissions or/and data or/and arising from any other matter relating to the service, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits or/and use or/and data or other intangible, even if Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages. User further agrees that Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from interruption, suspension or termination of service, including but not limited to direct or/and indirect or/and incidental or/and special consequential or/and exemplary damages, whether such interruption or/and suspension or/and termination was justified or not, negligent or intentional, inadvertent or advertent. User agrees that Company shall not be responsible or liable to user, or anyone, for the statements or conduct of any third party of the service. In sum, in no event shall Company's total liability to the User for all damages or/and losses or/and causes of action exceed the amount paid by the User to Company, if any, that is related to the cause of action.

DISCLAIMER OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES

In no event shall Company or any parties, organizations or entities associated with the corporate brand name us or otherwise, mentioned at this Website be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitations, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, or damage to computer hardware or loss of data information or business interruption) resulting from the use or inability to use the Website and the Website material, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not, such organization or entities were advised of the possibility of such damages.
